It all starts somewhere...

While pregnant with my first son, I had the crazy idea of trying to paint a mural for his wall. What could go wrong with that? I figured the worst thing that could happen would be that I had to repaint the wall.  Since doing that first project, my creativity has been exploding, begging for the next project. I barely finish one project before my mind starts planning the next.

Over the course of the past four years I have been creating and experimenting with different mediums.  From painting, to frosting, to fabric, it seems like there's always something to try. Sometimes things turn out great, while other times I quickly dispose of any evidence! 

Some people say I'm creative. Others say I'm crazy. My son says I'm awesome. I'm inspired by the world around me, my children, Pinterest (and who isn't these days??), things I see, places I go, and so much more.  I 'see' in shapes and colors. That, mixed with a willingness to try new things, lead to a portfolio of work that I will share.
